is proud to launch the Ibn Rushd Program as part of the University's support for Saudi Scholars and Researchers. The Ibn Rushd Postdoctoral Fellowship program offers funded fellowships for exceptional Saudi recent doctoral graduates and soon to graduate candidates to pursue postdoctoral research at top international research universities.
The Ibn Rushd Professorship Program is directed at established Saudi researchers and academics who are ready to apply to a faculty position at any rank.
The program forms part of KAUST's mission to diversify its faculty and augment the number of Saudi scholars at the university, thereby creating the nation's future leaders, thinkers and innovators.
The Ibn Rushd Professorship
Outstanding Saudi researchers and academics wishing to pursue a faculty career at KAUST are invited to apply to the Ibn Rushd Professorship program.
The Ibn Rushd Professorship track is open to Saudi applicants at all ranks (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor).
The Ibn Rushd Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Ibn Rushd Postdoctoral Fellowship is a highly competitive program that supports Saudi scholars who are exceptional PhD students or recent PhD graduates (within ±2 years of earning their PhD degree) to pursue their postdoctoral research at globally recognized host institutions.
The program offers a unique opportunity for selected scholars leading to an independent academic career with a focus on research and higher education. Awards are up to 3 years with a generous annual stipend and subject to an annual performance review.
